What can we monitor?

We monitor whether most of your network-connected devices are online and functioning properly. We can also track the health of many connected AV devices and light switches, though availability depends on the manufacturer. Additionally, we check your internet’s up/down status and measure average upload and download speeds.


What can't we monitor?

We can't monitor the quality of audio or video, meaning a connected media player may appear online, but playback issues could still occur. Individual apps or services within connected devices, such as Netflix on an Apple TV or Pandora on a Sonos player, are also beyond our reach. And for now, we’re unable to track toasters, wicker baskets, toilets, major home appliances, pets, kids, plant life, or potential zombie threats.
